You want to make some extra money, but you don’t want to leave the kids. There are ways for moms to make money and still be with their little ones. Here are three of them.
- Start up a Recess & Results in your town. This enterprise can not only help you to earn some much-appreciated capital, but it also allows you to have your kiddos with you while you do it. Not to mention giving you a platform from which you can do your part to fulfill the Great Commission.
- Become a freelance writer. If you have a talent for writing, then this could be the ideal fit for you. There are several sites online that match up writers with clients. On these sites, you start by simply providing a writing sample to show them what you’ve got, then, if you’ve got what it takes, you have the opportunity to take jobs and earn some dough.
- Sell your knowledge. Do you play an instrument? You could teach that skill to others. Get the word out. Let others know, post notices in grocery stores, church and school bulletin boards, on social media, walk the neighborhood telling people about the service that you offer.
In the end, there are quite a few ways for moms to make money. Just pray about what the right fit is for you and start looking. Always remember that “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord,” (Colossians 3:23a).
